Mr. Anil Harish
Mr. Anil Harish is the President of the HSNC Board. He is also an advocate and partner of the renowned Law Firm – D. M. Harish & Co., founded by his late father, Mr. D. M. Harish. He has also held leadership positions in several prestigious law institutes, and his contributions have been recognized by the legal community. As an accomplished man in several prominent law institutions, Mr. Anil Harish has expertise in property, exchange control, foreign investments, trusts, wills, and Indian and International Taxation. His exceptional leadership and vision have earned him recognition as a leading tax lawyer by Chambers & Partners, a prestigious legal directory. He also serves as an Advisory Board member of ‘Property Scape magazine and the ‘Accommodation Times Institute of Real Estate Management.’
Aside from his legal prowess, Mr. Anil Harish is a sought-after speaker and writer, with articles published in leading publications and speeches delivered at high – profile events across the globe. He is a Director of several reputable Public Limited Companies, including Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd., Hinduja Ventures Ltd., Future Enterprises Ltd., Oberoi Realty Ltd., and Blue Star Ltd.
Despite his many accomplishments, Mr. Anil Harish remains a humble and down-to-earth personality, known for his unique leadership style and exceptional dedication to the HSNC Board and its institutes.

Mr. Kishu Mansukhani
Mr. Kishu Mansukhani
Mr. Kishu Mansukhani, after a dream career as CEO with the Tata Group, has devoted himself to the promotion of Sindhi culture and language and has inspired all the Colleges to take this up with a missionary zeal.
He was born in Karachi, then a part of India. His father, Diwan Hashmatrai Mansukhani was Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, who resigned from his coveted post during freedom fighting – Quit India Movement.
Mr. Mansukhani is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering and Management Studies from USA. He was selected as a member of small group to establish exports for Tata Group – Telco Exports, which later became Tata Exports. He was working with Tata Engineering Company (TELCO) in senior capacity, incharge of International Marketing of Tata vehicles, associate engineering products. During his 30 years tenure with Tata Group, he travelled nearly 100 countries in Middle East, South East Asia, Europe, Africa and South America. He established dealer network and branch offices for the group companies. Mr. Mansukhani created close working relationship with many foreign distinguished personalities including Presidents and Ministers. For recognition of his distinguished work in marketing of Tata Mercedes Benz products, he was given citation by German Chamber of Commerce. He is also a recipient of awards from Presidents of Uganda and Seychelles.
Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani
Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani
Apart from being a trustee of the HSNC board, Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani is also the Managing Director of the Hiranandani Group of Companies. The group is recognized as a producer of high-quality housing and commercial premises in the country. The group has diversified into various other industries, including education, hospitality, entertainment, horticulture, and retail. The group is also known for its modern and state-of-the-art township projects in Powai and Thane, both of which are one of the most known commercial locations in and around Mumbai.
Apart from his professional work, Dr. Niranjan is actively dedicated and associated with various Government organisations, Private and social institutions, schools and colleges. He is known for drafting the State Policy of Slum Rehabilitation in Mumbai, acting as trustee for the creation of Nathdwara Township, serving on the board of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), and advising the Government of India on housing and habitat policy for over a decade. Dr. Hiranandani is a business leader with excellent business acumen, social awareness, and up-to-date knowledge.
Mr. Lal Chellaram
Mr. Lal Chellaram
Mr. Lal Chellaram is one of the trustees of the HSNC Board who was born in Hyderabad, Sind. He went to London to pursue graduation in Economics at the University of London. He is the grandson of Seth Kishinchand Chellaram, who helped the founding father of the HSNC board Mr. Kundnani, along with Barrister Advani to open a college in Mumbai after the partition. Today, the board has honored Seth Kishinchand by naming two colleges after his name Kishinchand Chellaram College and Kishinchand Chellaram Law College, both at Churchgate, established in 1954 and 1955 respectively. Mr. Lal Chellaram runs the Kishinchand Chellaram Educational Trust and he also established the Chellaram Foundation in India to help needy children acquire higher studies.
Mr. Lal Chellaram set up the Chellaram Diabetes Institute in Pune to help diabetic patients in India. It’s a non-profit organization that aims to improve diabetic treatment through research and education. He’s also the Chairman of Chellaram Shipping, which manages a modern fleet of dry-bulk carriers from Hong Kong.

Apart from being the trustee of the HSNC Board, Mrs. Maya Shahani is also in charge of the Shahani Group, which focuses on providing excellent education. The Thadomal Shahani Centre for Management is one of the group’s institutes and is affiliated with universities in the UK. It has won awards for being the best business school for industry-academic linkages. Mrs. Maya Shahani is also a Trustee of the Thadomal Shahani Trust, which was founded by her father-in-law in 1952. She is also associated with several foundations, including the SAGE Foundation, which educates and empowers under-resourced people, and the Global Dialogue Foundation, which works with the United Nations to promote peace. Mrs. Maya Shahani has won many awards, including the Global Peace Award and the Entrepreneur Business School Award. She believes in ethical excellence and fulfills her duties with compassion and commitment.

Mrs. Vandana Berjis Desai graduated in commerce and law from Government Law College, Mumbai. She worked as a corporate lawyer before becoming an editor at Jet Airways. She is a trained Montessori teacher and has diplomas in Advanced French and Travel & Tourism. ... Mrs. Vandana has done workshops in cognitive and behavioral psychology and has volunteered for NGOs like the Red Cross and IAPA. She was on the board of an orphanage run by the Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Foundation. She owns a stud farm in Pune, and her racehorses have set world records in thoroughbred racing.
Executive Committee Member
Born on the 6th of April, 1965, Mr. Vandan Agrawal is a Chartered Accountant from Mumbai. He went to Kishinchand Chellaram College for his Junior College. Mr. Vandan has worked in senior management positions in various shipping companies in India and abroad. He specializes in finance & accounts, taxation, legal, and general administration. He has been associated with Mr. Lal Chellaram’s Group since 1997 and is a director in many of the group companies. He is also a trustee in the group's charitable trusts and foundations that engage in educational and healthcare-related work. Mr. Vandan likes music, martial arts, and astrology and is involved in various altruistic activities. He is married and has two daughters.
Mr. Vandan AgrawalMr. Akhil Shahani heads The Shahani Group which has many colleges under them, that provides education in the field of business, media, real estate, and finance. The colleges help the students become employable by teaching them things that businesses want. He also partners with Kaizen Private Equity, which only invests in education. Mr. Akhil Shahani dedicates his time to charity work too and helps social entrepreneurs through his work with Unltd India & IDOBRO. He is also the Director of the SAGE Foundation and Trustee of The Shahani Trust, both of which help educate people. He has won many awards for his work in education and speaks at conferences.
Mr. Akhil ShahaniDr. Mansukhani is a pediatric dentist who works at the Doctor Center in Kemps Corner, Mumbai. She has over 25 years of experience in her field, and for 12 years, she worked as a professor at M. A. Rangoonwala Dental College, Pune. She has also been an examiner for various universities including the National Dental Council (NDC), Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). Dr. Mansukhani is also known as a motivational speaker who gives lectures on oral health care in schools and colleges across the country. Dr. Mansukhani is an avid yogi who believes in the importance of giving back to society. She has participated in Behtar India (a non-profit organization that helps underprivileged children), Habitat for Humanity, and Alert India.

Mr. Dinesh Panjwani, Secretary of the HSNC Board has been the Principal and Vice-Principal of the Board’s colleges. He also holds membership in the Senate and several University of Mumbai Councils and initially used to serve as Vice Chancellor of HSNC University. Apart from his professional status, Mr. Panjwani is also a member of Kaivalyadhama, a leading Yoga Institute in India.

Mrs. Padma Shah has been in association with the HSNC Board since 1973 when she was a part of K. C. College. At K. C. College, Mrs. Shah looked after the administration of the board, and at the same time, she used to help and guide the Principals of the college. Since her retirement, Mrs. Shah is fully immersed in Board’s work and continues to work to date.

Mrs. Padma Shah has been in association with the HSNC Board since 1973 when she was a part of K. C. College. At K. C. Mr. Adhiraj Harish is a highly educated lawyer from Mumbai, India. He holds three degrees: BMS, LLB, and LLM, from the University of Mumbai. He has also completed courses from the University of California, Berkeley, and the World Intellectual Property Organization. Mr. Adhiraj has been practicing law since 2011, and his main focus is on Real Estate law. He has helped many clients to successfully complete real estate transactions. Mr. Adhiraj also practices in the areas of Wills and Succession and laws related to international investments. He has co-authored a paper on Human Rights and Environment Law violations by Companies, which he presented at the National Seminar on Corporate Justice organized by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
